Wow cant belive a year has gone by so quick seemes like just yesturday i was partying for my birthday in Bondi and now im back home partying it up with my friends and family! sooo stoked!
I also recently left my work at DC to go to Oakley stoked on the move im hyped to be working with a rad new crew in anouther new store that we just launched this weekend !!! Still bummd to leave such a rad company but very greatfull for my time their and stoked with the people i met and the knowlage i gained !!

Well don't get me wrong ok i love nz for about may threw till november and then when winters over its back to square one, weather i'm selling clothes and boards for a shop or i'm hanging off the back of a roading truck doing traffic control at the end of the day all the money goes into MAKING IT BACK OUT OF NZ even if its just for a 2week long shred trip to the northern hemi where the snow is deep and endless, drinks , food, late nights and partying with old friends on the regular its just anouther awsome winter going down and im stuck here working away just try and save enough to get just a taste and to make it easier lasting to may without seeing snow.
Ive been keeping myself amused with working my way threw the two seasons of How to make it in america which in some ways is easy for me to relate to with the whole clothing biz but man its just sucha a good show realy gets me movtervated to make sure i get it right and if your going to do somthing to do it properly or not to bother at all.
My new clothing project SWAY has been comming along great ive got my new soft shell fabrics and a full merino line underway now i just need to finish it all get the catalogs and order forms out to the stores, colect the orders and run them threw the factory! sounds easy huh! well its certintaly been a learning curve one thats paid off for the best so far. I have my Father and our Friend Ivan to thank for all the knowlage that they have passd on aswell as guidence when the hard choices come in.
Sooo as i sit in the back of the work truck typing this all up i think to myself is it all realy worth it, the chasing snow the passing on job roles that would see me right in the long run but id have to give up what i love for a good 5 years hmmmm I WOULD DROP EVERYTHING FOR THIS LIFE I HAVE, and if it means i have to surport this lifestyle by doing jobs that dont make sense to most, well i hope they realise i can leave them in may each year and come back to one of the radest places on earth and the place to be when its our winter. + if i do a good job and work hard i'm sure theyll have me back or like most things in life i can just keep living and moving forward and find my own path to whatever it is im building towards.
I need $4500 for my 3 week trip so far on the list of jobs that are helping me get there i have workd traffic control for the rugby world cup, moved a wharehouse, driven a hazmat truck to dump waste, im working 38hour weeks in at QUIK, Barbacking 4 nights a week for minimum, cleaning windows round the house, mowing lawns, If you want somthing and your willing to put in the hard work im willing to say 99% of the time it works out and if it doesn't then atleast you have plenty of drinking money saved up!

Well life back home has been very amusing, ive been off labouring and doing interviews for this and that and flat out all over the show really. Me and my bro D'arcy went to see what we hoped was going to be Wales smashing Ausi at the rugby world cup at Mt Eden staidium but noo they lost badly! We then went out on the town getting completly written off but somehow ended up jumping into cabs and stores yelling out "ALAN ALAN ALAN ALAN ALAN WAIT YOUR NOT ALAN WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?" this has caused many a scene intown. folowd by one of the funniest taxi rides home.

a Week later we had D'arcys leaving pubcrawl to see him on his way to Hawaii LUKY BASTARD!
well it wouldnt have been that messy if i hadn't left my glasses at home, those of you that know me know that im as blind as a bat and when ive been drinking all ive got are my beer googles which on this night out found me a married lady haha. anyway the pub craw was epic we got so written off deu to all the free drinks and walked all over the city with a rowdy mob of travelers. Alan came out and got priy loud in the 24 hour convineice store followed by the taxi and mc donalds and a few bars

darce ran away from a girl, me and max picked up crazy sisters, bardin got pounced on by a drunk asian, morgan got hit on by to girls then had to baild cos we all took off after darce after he ran out of the club. and mine disappeard and then her sis goes" oh she said she had fun and catch up soon but you know shes married" K*NT! followd by darce and bardo fighting all down my st and now hes lost his phone haha epic
Well winter is finaly over or as Spence would say "hurracaine season it aint over its just moved hemisphere" Dany and I where meant to wake up early but deu to us deciding to party the night before leaving for the north island with a ferry to catch we kind of where not going to make it from the get go haha
Whilst i was franticly running around the house trying to pack and load the car at the same time, i kept getting distracted by cop out ? you know the film with Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis
know what im talking about now? shits distracting!
. We hit the road very late with very few hours to make the ferry but we gave it our best. It was rad to show Tronpeopie some of my country what i consider the real nz, like lake Tekapo i gaurentee this is the bluest lake on the planet.

After a epic lunch over looking the lake we continued our mission north, when we soon realised we wernt going to make the ferry i called ahead and managed to get us booked on the first one out in the am.... this meant we had to spend a night in Picton haha i called my bro Andrew who found us acomidation at a place which me and DT will forever call the Picton ghetto it was like a allway in mexico meets the brazilian flavellas with a shady asian foodcourt kitchen. Anyway we were shown our shared room and Dany without missing a beat grabd the solo bed against the wall whilst i climbd up to the top bunk and wonderd who we were sharing our room with. Tron goes fuck look at that hat (refering to some american sports style baseball cap) hes like great more americans haha! anyway sure enough a yank came into the room and goes "hey guys you smoke weed? i have some if you want to come burn some with me" we both turn down the offer and get ready to call it a night.
Next thing you know the guy is back and baked and also on the top bunk at the other end of the room, he looks over at me and goes "wow you realy going to sleep with your shoes on your bed?!" Yup because when that alarm goes in the am i aint going to be flicking on the light waking everybody up just to find my fucking shoes!!! Tron found this quite amusing. A british couple then enterd the room one on each of the bottom bunks. then it was lights out. 6am came alot quicker then what i was expecting i woke up before my alarm went off and deactivated it, got my shoes on and the rest of my gear in my pockets, i heard the girl on the bottom bunk drinkn her water and looking down i could see their backpacks where blocking the ladder so i had to jump. I tried to be like a lemer or a jedi jumping silently to the floor of course i landed like a IED acourding to Dany who i woke up with a tug of the toe sure enough he replies" like i wouldnt wake up to that !!! haha "
and we were on the road again free from the clutches of the Picton ghetto my next mission was to sneek Dany onto the ferry . ( i faild and ill spare you the jedi mind tricks that faild cloaking him as we went threw the checkpoint) anyway little did we know we where in for one of the roughest sea trips ever, the swell was gnarly and everybody around us was chucking we just kept the convo and eyecontact going whilst now and then listnin to our ipods and looking out the window trying to fix on a point without chucking , i was a idiot and got the full continental breakfast haha big mistake but i held it down !!!
We soon reached the windy cloudy shores of Wellington where the road trip to Ohakune begun! we got into kune around 6 I was stoked to be back and see Cam and the boys. we soon crashed out hard. waiting to get up the next day to ride MT Whakapapa with Matt Taylor and some other crew from down south. EPIC DAY!!!
Later that night we found ourselves in the local bar downing beers playing pool followed by going to a friends campervan which he had stowed away 2 NY style SALS pizza's which were f**king amazing!!! we then stumbled back up to the bar to meet up with our good friend ASH. Next day we where up early and riding Turoa, i speant the morning doing a board review for a new prototype board from Endevour which rode soo well!!! we speant the day riding laps all over the mountain having a blast a solid last day to the season. We got dinner at the OCR which is run by my two good friends Dodge and Bex who make the most amazing dinners soooo good we ate like kings!!!
The next day we once again loaded up the car and headed north back to my house. Dany supervised the loading of the car this time making sure there was plenty of headroom and footspace for extra comfort. unlike the drive up haha. im sure theirs a joke out there that goes" a Air force Soldier and a Army Ranger are trying to load some gear into the car how many trys does each one take?" the correct anser is one the Airman sits back asess's the situation plans it out and then delegates to the ranger what to do, being a ranger means its all go the second you get those orders and just like that we were packed up and good to go . if i recall Capting had me yelling the new motto to our wolf pack out loud during this excercise which was "DO LIKE TRON DOES" "DO WHAT TRON SAYS" !!!!
We arrived back in Auckland quite late and pulled into the driveway and were greated by my two hyperactive dogs and my mum and sister. We both crashed out early that night. In the morning tronpeopi got up extra early to watch the football but turnd out it didnt start till 3pm not 7am ahaha!! next thing you know hes in the hot tub for a decent hour gettin his chill on whilst i got chores done round the house. later we met up with the one and only ASH and got some epic burgerfeul for dinner. The next morning i helpd load Tronpeopi's gear into the car and drove him out to the airport for his flight back home , "aw well buddy only 7 months till you have to pick me up from here haha " and with that he was off , lucky SOB was heading to Mexico on a surf trip sooo jelous !!!!

Myself dany and parker hiked to the sumit and had a epic ride down followed by riding threw some of the chutes, Parker was SENDING IT!!! and Dany did some weird flip that we are still confused what to call it but F**k me it was awsome.
